Types of Gutter Styles
Some of the different types of gutter styles you can choose from include:
Colonial Gutters
One of the most popular gutter styles on the market, colonial gutters are available in both 5″ and 6″. This type of gutter features a wide base that serves as a large opening for leading water towards the downspout, making it extremely easy to clean and maintain. Colonial gutters also offer the strongest configuration, thanks to their unique shape.

Super 5-Inch Gutters
Super 5-inch gutters are designed to resemble colonial gutters, while offering the functionality of fascia gutters. This means that this type of gutter style can be used in place of a fascia board by being attached to the end of rafters.
Crown Gutters
Crown gutters are designed to resemble the outer appearance of crown moulding. The lip on the exterior of this gutter helps hide the mounting hardware from view, ensuring the outside of the house has a clean, sophisticated look.
2-Step Fascia Gutters
2-step fascia gutters are designed to fit on the end of rafters, simultaneously functioning as both gutters and fascia boards. The greater depth of this type of gutter covers the sub-fascia and the soft-trim for an efficient and modern look.
European Half Round Gutters
European half round gutters look like half cut-open pipes, featuring one or both lips molded in a rounded fashion. This type of gutter style requires external fixtures to hold it in place and can be more expensive than other gutter styles.
